Reel hooks you.

The waterside restaurant, which succeeds The Fishery, delivers a quick, casual and tasty preview of spring and summer. It spurs alfresco daydreams.

Chef Adam Goldgell, best known for his appearances on Food Network shows and his cooking at Sugo in Long Beach, sends out flavorful, unpretentious seafood dishes. And the restaurant is fine for the entire family.

Try a mussel pot, either fra diavolo, marinara or finished with garlic and white wine. They're plump and very good. Or truly get a head start on the warm weather with a satisfying lobster roll. If you want an appetizer that's not seafood, celebrate the 50th anniversary of Buffalo chicken wings with Reel's meat, well-sauced version.
