The influx of restaurants to Roosevelt Field just doesn’t stop. One of the newest is actually a makeover, of sorts.
Sixth & Pine, a full-service restaurant, opened on the third floor of Nordstrom in late November, replacing an order-at-the-counter cafe. The new place is named for the location of the store’s corporate headquarters in Seattle. Billing itself as “a diner with the heart of a deli” (whatever that means), the eatery is outfitted with red-upholstered booths as well as tables; there's also counter seating.
On the menu: potato latkes ($5.95), shrimp cocktail ($9.95), a corned beef Reuben ($11.50) and a cilantro-lime chicken salad ($10.50). Entrees include meat loaf ($13.50) and horseradish-crusted salmon ($17.95) Finish with a warm chocolate cookie sundae ($5.25). Daily and weekly specials round out the repertoire.
The restaurant is open from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. and accepts reservations through Open Table.
