It’s days later and I can’t stop thinking about the mulligatawny soup I had at Punjabi Kabab House, a small Hicksville storefront specializing in the flavors of Northern India.
The menu describes the goldenrod-hued brew as “soup, made with lentils, fresh herbs.” What that description doesn’t tell you about is all the spicy nuances at play in one little bowl. Loved the shower of fresh coriander on top.
