Staying on top of trend, Brooks & Porter in Merrick last week inaugurated a new sushi bar manned by chef Alan Kim. You may know Kim from his day job behind the sushi counter at Cirella’s at Saks Fifth Avenue in Huntington’s Walt Whitman Mall, where he continues to turn out sensational sashimi platters and maki rolls.
