Sangre de Uva in Rockville Centre has closed its doors. The tapas bar just north of the LIRR station opened in 2012 and, last month, announced on Facebook that it would closing in August.

On the restaurant’s website, owner Jennifer Lopez wrote that she and chef-partner Patrick Joseph thanked their customers for all their support. “FYI,” she wrote, “We will not give away our sangria recipe and we know you are dying to know what is in Patrick Joseph’s house-made sausage recipes . . . We hope that we will be able to give you another amazing experience in the future.”
