With all the LI pubs, clubs and lounges that regularly employ DJs and bands for warm-weather events, it’s easy to assume that an ideal description of local, summer fun could include the desire to spend an evening enjoying music in an outdoor setting. But then again, it’s not hard to imagine that life leaves little time to dance under the stars for some people.
For those in such a situation, would 30 straight opportunities make a tune-filled, alfresco night slightly more feasible?
If so, Hudsons on The Mile may have a solid solution to this proposed dilemma, as the nightlife-powered restaurant and bar (located on Woodcleft Avenue in Freeport along the Nautical Mile) will be hosting a session from a locally-based act every single night throughout the month of June.
Keep in mind: the calendar doesn't consist of 30 different acts -- but the intended selection is still pretty wide, with such popular performers as Uppercut (June 7, 19, 27), Kamellot (June 6, 26) and DJ Tommy Nappi (every Tuesday in June) returning for repeat shows -- while some of the well-known bands slated for single gigs include Ahmad Ali (June 16), Mystic (June 20) and Disco Unlimited (June 21).
