While many nightspots welcome the warmer weather with DJs and bands playing cutting-edge and current music, Harbor Crab in Patchogue takes a night in the spring to turn back the clock.
As this dockside restaurant and tavern did last year, the ‘Crab is holding a 70's costume party, where guests are asked to get dressed up in their best disco duds (with prizes for top costumes) and boogie like club people did when Studio 54 in NYC was the place to be. This year’s gathering takes place on Friday, April 20, with no cover charge.
Watch for prices on drinks to take things back to a different era as well, with $3 Pabst Blue Ribbon cans and “7 and 7” cocktails (whiskey and lemon-lime soda). Medford’s own DJ Itam will spin beats around a live set by Long Island party band Powerplay from 8 -10 p.m.
