If you're looking for something to do this summer and you don't want to get a sunburn, Atlantis Marine World in Riverhead is where the entire family can meet three new additions to the aquarium.

Three baby otters were discovered on March 5 by aquarium staff during a routine visit inside the Otter Falls exhibit. During the months of April and March, the mother has been teaching them how to swim and grab food for themselves. Although their genders have yet to be determined, their names are Cinnamon, Pepper and Cocoa.

Visitors can be seen taking their fingers and drawing large continuous circles on the glass in an effort to entice the otters to put their noses up against the glass and follow. Sometimes they even do flips and twirl in circles. Go ahead! Try it out for yourselves.

After one year, the babies will be released to another facility where they will be old enough to mate with other otters. But don't worry! There's plenty of time left to watch them swim and play during regular hours, including eating hours at 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. daily.

Watch a video of the otters at play below.
