Want to treat your palate to an around-the-world tour of beers? If you answered yes, you're in luck. Nassau Coliseum will host the third annual Long Island International Beer Expo on Saturday, Nov. 13.

The expo features two sessions, one from 12:30-4 p.m. and the other from 5:30-9 p.m. Tickets are $45 a pop, available online or at the box office ($55 day of). Designated driver tickets are $10 each. Everyone must be over 21 to enter.

The cost of admission includes a souvenir tasting glass and 2 oz. pours of any of the beers on hand. The middle of the expo will be set up as a beer garden with beer tastings and German-inspired foods.

Participating brewers include local spots Blue Point Brewing Company, Greenport Harbor Brewing Co., Great South Bay Brewery, Black Forest Brew Haus, Brick House Brewery, Fire Island Beer Company and the new Long Ireland Beer Company out of Port Jefferson Station, plus international favorites like Stella Artois, Newcastle and Dos Equis.

Yep, this sounds like just the way to spend a chilly Saturday afternoon.
