Celebrities hit the Hamptons Memorial Day Weekend

The summer season is in full swing. For those who live in (or follow the adventures that take place in) the Hamptons, this means the biggest weekend of crowds -- and celebrity spottings -- has just taken place. You may read here or there about a famous face that popped up at some East End nightclub -- but ExploreLI was all over the South Fork, and we have the scoop on who we spotted where:

Matt Levine and Kelly Brady's party at Georgica in Wainscott held a benefit for UNICEF's "City of Joy" program on Sunday, May 29, and the dinner and after-party was held by Angel Wings -- a foundation of supermodel / actress Jessica White ("Big Momma's House 2," Sports Illustrated's swimsuit issue). White was present, as was media mogul Russell Simmons, Dina Lohan and actor Eddie Jemison ("Oceans 11,"The Informant!"). Just as celebrity-packed as it was during Memorial Day Weekend 2010, the stars were joined by a massive crowd, with the night sparked by a surprise live performance from pop singer Shontelle -- delivering a rendition of her hit song "Impossible" so powerfully that it could be heard from Montauk Highway when the Georgica front doors were open.

Meanwhile, the major buzz about 75 Main in Southampton unfortunately took place before ExploreLI arrived -- as Vice President Joe Biden came to this Main Street restaurant for brunch on Saturday, May 28. But later in the evening, when the DJs started playing, "Real Housewives of New York" cast-member Sonja Morgan was present -- wishing her fans well and having a great time. She even took a moment to share a lively conversation with public relations rep/ reality show co-star Jonathan Cheban ("The Spin Crowd") -- while the aforementioned Jessica White and Dina Lohan were also in attendance here as well.

On a more familiar note, News 12 entertainment reporter Elisa DiStefano was also on the scene, and made sure to chat and laugh with DJ Goldapper of the 105.3-FM "Party 105" morning show.
