Christmas drinks: Holiday cocktails to sip this season

Raise a glass to the holiday season with these Christmas cocktails.

Raspberry Shooters

INGREDIENTS: Black Raspberry Sparkling ICE 1 oz.

INGREDIENTS:

Black Raspberry Sparkling ICE
1 oz. vanilla flavored vodka
White sugar nonpareils for rimming each shot glass

Wet the rim of a chilled shot glass and dip into a shallow bowl of nonpareils. Pour in chilled vodka and top with a splash of Black Raspberry Sparkling ICE.

White Coconut Christmas

INGREDIENTS: 1½ oz. Blue Chair Bay Coconut

INGREDIENTS:

1½ oz. Blue Chair Bay Coconut Rum
1½ oz. Coconut Milk (or regular milk if coconut not available)
½ oz. white crème de cacao
½ oz. ginger liqueur

Shake ingredients very well with ice and strain into chilled cocktail glass or over ice into a rocks glass. Garnish with freshly grated nutmeg. 

Holiday Sleigh Ride

INGREDIENTS: 1¼ parts Courvoisier VSOP ¾ part

INGREDIENTS:

1¼ parts Courvoisier VSOP
¾ part cranberry juice
1½ parts fresh lemon sour
1 part fresh orange juice

Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled cinnamon/sugar-rimmed cocktail glass. Garnish with an orange spiral twist.

Coconut Eggnog

INGREDIENTS: 4 cans Coco Joy Coconut Water

INGREDIENTS:

4 cans Coco Joy Coconut Water
6 egg yolks
½ cup sugar
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
8 ounces spiced rum
Ice
Cinnamon
Coconut flakes

1. Bring coconut water to a simmer in a medium pot over medium-high heat. Whisk together egg yolks, sugar and vanilla in a bowl until smooth and pale.

2. Gradually whisk half the hot coconut water into the egg mixture, then pour into pot with remaining coconut water. Cook over medium heat, stirring, until thick and mixture nearly coats the back of a wooden spoon, 2 to 3 minutes.

3. Pour through a fine strainer into a bowl. Stir in rum, and refrigerate at least 3 hours and up to overnight. Pour into a pitcher, and serve over ice, garnished with coconut flakes and cinnamon.

Yuletide Martini

INGREDIENTS: 2 oz. Bombay Sapphire 2 tsp

INGREDIENTS:

2 oz. Bombay Sapphire
2 tsp Cranberry Sauce
¼ oz. dry curaçao 
¼ oz. cinnamon syrup
1 dash five spice bitters (Bar Keep)

Candy Cane Cooler

INGREDIENTS: 1 tbs crushed soft peppermint candy

INGREDIENTS:

1 tbs crushed soft peppermint candy
1½ fl oz vodka
splash of white creme de menthe
¼ fl oz brandy
½ fl oz half-and-half
Crushed ice
Peppermint stick for garnish
Mint sprig for garnish

Combine the vodka and crushed peppermint. Stir to dissolve. Add the remaining ingredients, stir and garnish.

Holiday Toddy

INGREDIENTS: 1.5 parts Courvoisier VSOP 1 half

INGREDIENTS:

1.5 parts Courvoisier VSOP
1 half moon slice of orange
1 wedge of lemon
3 whole cloves
1 part agave nectar
Hot water

In an Irish coffee mug muddle the cloves, orange, and lemon. Add nectar and Courvoisier VSOP and top with steaming hot water. Stir and serve with a cinnamon stick.

Sparkling Peppermint Swirl

INGREDIENTS: 2 ½ oz. VOGA Sparkling 1.5

INGREDIENTS:

2 ½ oz. VOGA Sparkling
1.5 oz. Vanilla vodka
1 oz. crème de menthe liquor
Splash of Grenadine

In a shaker, combine ice, vodka and crème de menthe and grenadine. Stir gently and strain into a chilled martini glass rimmed with crushed candy canes. Top with VOGA Sparkling and garnish with a candy cane.

Good Memories

INGREDIENTS: 1.75oz Bombay Sapphire Gin 1 oz spiced

INGREDIENTS:

1.75oz Bombay Sapphire Gin
1 oz spiced rum
1 scoop hazelnut ice cream
0.5oz cherry liquor
Jerry Thomas bitter
Cinnamon

Pour all the ingredients into a shaker except the bitter and cinnamon, then shake with no ice, just with a strainer cord, the ice cream will melt into the drink chilling it out perfectly, getting creamy and ready for some cinnamon grated on top and Jerry Thomas bitter. 

Spiked Craberry Lemonade

INGREDIENTS: 3 oz. Sparkling ICE Lemonade 1

INGREDIENTS:

3 oz. Sparkling ICE Lemonade
1 oz. cranberry juice
1½ oz. vodka
Fresh Cranberries and mint for garnish

In a shaker, combine Sparkling ICE Lemonade, cranberry juice and vodka. Pour into glass and garnish with fresh cranberries and mint spring

Pomegranate Sparkler

INGREDIENTS: 1 teaspoon fresh pomegranate seeds 3

INGREDIENTS:

1 teaspoon fresh pomegranate seeds
3 ounces VOGA Prosecco
½ oz. pomegranate Juice

Scoop 1 teaspoon of fresh pomegranate seeds into a champagne glass. Pour in pomegranate juice. Top with VOGA Prosecco.

Holiday Horchata

INGREDIENTS: 1 part Hornitos Plata Tequila ½

INGREDIENTS:
1 part Hornitos Plata Tequila
½ part coconut water
½ part almond milk

Add ingredients in a shaker with ice, shake, then strain into a small glass rimmed with cinnamon and sugar.

Courvoisier Sparkler

INGREDIENTS: 1 part Courvoisier VSOP cognac 1

INGREDIENTS:

1 part Courvoisier VSOP cognac
1 Demerara sugar cube
2 dashes of Angostura bitters
Top up with Champagne

Soak a sugar cube in bitters and drop into a champagne flute. Cover with Courvoisier VS Cognac and slowly top with champagne.
