Cash Lawrence is back at Sip This in Valley Stream for the hip coffeehouse’s monthly “BYOV: Bring Your Own Vinyl” gathering from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. As always, he’ll be playing records (that’s correct, actual vinyl records, hence the name of the event) of various genres. Of course, if you have a desire to join in – as well as some records of your own – feel free to show up with your discs in tow, and Cash will gladly give them a whirl. No cover.

Hector’s resume is lengthy and includes a 2001 Grammy Award for best remixer, with remixes for Janet Jackson, Jennifer Lopez and Whitney Houston among many past projects. Cover is $10 for ladies, $15 for gentlemen with an opening set from DJ Manic.

Fresh off an opening-closing gig with (arguably) the world’s most famous mixer Tiësto at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, Long Island’s own Carlos Melange will join a crew of several other native DJs at Four Food Studio in Melville. Starting after 9 p.m., Joey Boii, Rob James, Mimic, Johnathan Move and Eddie Tegone are all scheduled to take a turn at the equipment to play club beats in the name of Four resident DJ Mark J’s birthday. No cover.
