Ever hear such great tunes in your Zumba class you wish you could continue moving to music all night? Or how about the last time you had a great night on the dance floor – ever wish you could move like that in fitness class?
On Thursday, Oct. 6, both of those possibilities will become realities as Mulcahy’s in Wantagh will feature “Zumba Fitness In The Club.”
Starting at 7:45 p.m., those 21 and older are invited to arrive in either club attire or gym wear for this real exercise class. Led by instructors Darlene Smith (yogasize.net) and Brian Oakes (zumbaonlongisland.com), the class will set up in the dance space for a 45 minute-1 hour session of Zumba – the calorie-burning exercise technique that involves classes pushing hard to complete choreography that takes from several style of Latin dancing, hip-hop moves, martial arts and other physical activities.
Admission is $10, and that fee includes a complimentary drink. Patrons are invited to come and just hang at the bar without breaking a sweat – and at the same time -- if you show up in your gym clothes, work out and then decide to hang after, you can enjoy the unique experience of spending the night at Mulcahy’s in your sweats and spandex.
