Between Memorial Day and Labor Day, the Hamptons are awash with massive parties that can involve waiting on long lines, hoping for friendly doormen and spending thousands just to sit down. On the other hand, there are often lots of smaller get-togethers that are open to all and cost nothing to attend.
To experience one of those latter, less-infuriating lounge-outs, a good option to consider might be the Garden Party set for the Prince Of Scots boutique in Water Mill on Saturday, July 13.
Although mainly a shop for luxury clothing, the venue does have a sizable, manicured front courtyard, and it is there a celebration that nods to swim wear created by the Pull-In brand will be held from 4 p.m.-7 p.m.
Naturally, clothing will be for sale, but attendees can also expect goody bags, locally-produced wines, bites, and even possible passes to this weekend’s ArtHampton expo (in Bridgehampton, July 11-14). In addition, DJ Max Layn – who usually spins at exclusive NYC functions – is scheduled to deliver a session of house and other deep beats throughout the evening.
