A fixture of Babylon town since the late 1940s, this dinette has breakfast and lunch ready to roll all week (save Sundays). Early meals are based around the basics: bacon, eggs and cheese. Whether on a sandwich or platter, the classic tastes of the morning are all present, as well as breads, waffles and griddlecakes. Lunch is just as important to the menu, and Glen's has soups, salads, sandwiches, wraps and hamburgers all available. Hot meals are also part of the possibilities--so whether you prefer poultry, beef or seafood, chances are there will be something akin to your cravings somewhere on the house food list.

This cozy Babylon institution has been around since 1948; Raymond "Hapi" Auer and Chrissie Auer have owned it for the past 17 years.
At breakfast, try the piping hot, tender "blue monkey" pancakes loaded with fresh blueberries and bananas. The house-baked raisin scones are old-fashioned good, as is the sturdy corned-beef hash. At lunch, burgers are char-grilled and delicious.
