According to several sources, the July 2013 full moon (also known as the Full Buck Moon or the Full Thunder Moon) is expected to shine in its entirety on Monday, July 22. However, whatever significant portion of Earth's satellite will be visible Sunday, July 21, will have to do for everyone joining in at the Hamptons Full Moon Fest shindig starting at 6 p.m.
The location will be Gurney’s Inn, 290 Old Montauk Hwy, Montauk, (631-668-2345) and the happening is part of the spot’s weekly Beach Club affair, a party partially created by Dual Groupe -- the hospitality company responsible for the internationally famous Day & Night parties, which are also currently held at Gurney’s. The main event is to be music from Dan Bailey Tribe, a Montauk-based band that goes in for both fun and funk. In addition, there is to be a beach bonfire, a fire dancing show and a healthy dose of percussion performed throughout, all set to roll on until 10 p.m.
To RSVP, email firstname.lastname@example.org or send a text message to 1-917-741-3099. The full Beach Club bash begins at 1:30 p.m., and for more information, email email@example.com or check out Gurney’s online at facebook.com/gurneysinn.
