Yes. It's true. The Harry Potter blockbuster film series is coming to an end with the last adventure, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2," hitting theaters July 15.

But, don't shed a tear. Instead, celebrate the way we were Wednesday night by rocking out to wizard rock tunes based on Potter characters at Sachem Public Library in Holbrook.

The concert, held in the library's outdoor garden, includes popular touring bands The Whomping Willows, Lauren Fairweather of The Moaning Myrtles, Justin Finch-Fletchley and Armoured Bearcub. Attendees should bring blankets or chairs and feel free to dress in costume.

Not familiar with wizard rock, you say?

This genre of rock developed initially in Massachusetts with Harry and the Potters in the early 2000s. Bands are characterized by their humorous lyrics about the Harry Potter world, with songs typically written from the viewpoint of a particular character featured in the band's name.

So, grab the kids and groove to Potter Land.

WHEN / WHERE 6 p.m. July 6 at Sachem Public Library outdoor garden, 150 Holbrook Rd., Holbrook (If it rains, the concert will be moved to inside to the community room).
