If new school R&B is your sort of sound, you may want to keep Saturday, Sept. 20, open as singer Jeremih has been scheduled to perform that evening at The Emporium in Patchogue.

Jeremih (aka Jeremih Felton) is a 27-year-old Chicagoan whose musical efforts receive regular local radio play, and should be familiar to LI club aficionados as his collaborations with such rap stars as 50 Cent (“Down On Me”), Ludacris (“I Like”) and YG (“Don't Tell 'Em”) help make the artist’s work standard material for nightspot DJs who spin current hip-hop hits. In addition, Felton has landed singles on the Billboard music charting company’s Hot 100 list (billboard.com), and stands tall on social media with more than a million Likes on his official Facebook page and more than 600,000 Twitter followers.

Doors will open at 10 p.m. for this event, with a cover charge of $10 for women, $15 for men. Age of admission is 21 and over; dress to impress. For more information, check out The Emporium online at theemporiumny.com and facebook.com/emporiumny; for bottle service call 631-275-6200.
