If you are among the many that have made the club scene a personal priority during the past 20 years, the mere mention of the name Jonathan Peters should stir some serious excitement.

The man (commonly nicknamed as simply “JP”) has enjoyed a career that few DJs can match – as his sessions of spinning trance, progressive beats and other powerful dance genres have often drawn heavy crowds since the 1990s (especially when he was the resident DJ of the now-defunct Manhattan nightclub “Sound Factory”).

Unlike many of his contemporaries, Peters is adamant about controlling and changing the music he is playing, to the point where it has been popularly insinuated by his large fan base that he never plays the same track the same way twice. It was once a common occurrence for hundreds of Long Islanders (if not more) to journey into NYC on weekends to catch a “Factory” night with JP -- and although these days he is not rooted to any single location, his name is still synonymous with big club bashes.

If you are among his dedicated followers, there's an upcoming gathering that just might be a major treat – as on Saturday, Dec. 22 Jonathan Peters will be working the DJ booth at Wall Street in Hauppauge (573 Nesconset Hwy, 631-656-6550) for the club’s Christmas party.

The doors open at 9 p.m., with the night also featuring a fashion show from designer/ model Kristen Ways. Tickets are on sale online at for $20, but will also be available at the door (and possibly for a higher price); age of admission is 21, dress to impress. For more information, check out Wall Street on the Web at and at; call 631-312-6252 or 631-656-6563 to book VIP table service.
