Just in case you missed last month's Hamptons Film Festival, here comes a second chance. Of course, this one has none of the celebrity factor, none of the movies you'll be watching in theaters soon and none of the pizazz.
But it DOES take place in the Hamptons and it's called the Take 2 Film Festival.
In its third year, the T2FF is an avenue for local documentary filmmakers to get their films seen by people other than themselves.
Here's the schedule for Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 21 and 22 (It's the same each day, by the way).
Noon- 1 p.m.: Tale of Two Schools (trailer below)
1:00: Bette & Dale’s Organic Produce
1:30: Lessons for Living
2:30: The Artist & His Model
3:30: Nascence & Such Great Heights
3:45: Funny Business
5:00: Hamptons Drive-In/Kanovitz
7:00: Dad's in Heaven with Nixon
9:00: Close Harmony
Q&As with the documentarians will take place afterwards. Tickets are $20, or $15 for the evening session only. Saturday's screenings are at the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center, and Sunday's are at Bay Street Theatre. If you want more info, try ht2ff.com
