The TLC network reality program “Long Island Medium” has made Hicksville’s Theresa Caputo a household name around the country. Now in its second season, it draws millions of viewers. She states the ability to connect with the spirits of people who have died, and meets with those looking to connect with their departed loved ones. Her show is also driven by her peppy personality, with many of her travels around Nassau County offering glimpses of neighborhood stores easily recognized by South Shore locals.

However, if you’d rather not wait and see if you might bump into her at the Division Avenue Dairy Mart in Levittown or Iavarone Bros. in Wantagh (two businesses that saw Caputo pass through while she was followed by the show's camera crew), she will be appearing at Sugar Dining Den and Social Club in Carle Place on Wednesday, May 16, from 6 p.m.-11 p.m.

Unfortunately, the $100 tickets that include a meal and a spiritual reading have already sold out, but Sugar is also offering a $75 admission that provides a buffet and open bar, as well as allowing for a view of those who are meeting directly with the medium. Purchases can be made online at wantickets.com, and for more information check sugarli.com or facebook.com/SugarNights.
