Every year as Thanksgiving approaches I start looking forward to the holidays. I start a list of gifts I want (and want to give), pull out the little white lights, dig up recipes for pies and cookies (and research new ones), and start playing The Muppets album, "A Christmas Together," and Tchaikovsky's "Nutcracker Suite" on repeat. And every year I think about how I really should go to a holiday show, see "The Nutcracker" or "A Christmas Carol" performed live. But I'm a procrastinator, and by the time I get around to looking up tickets, it's too late and they're all sold out. So this year is different. I've pulled together some holiday shows, below, coming to Long Island that are listed in order of their start date. I've even included links to buy tickets to make it nice and easy for you. Now go have some holiday fun!
