It's interesting when you think of it, that two of the hardest-working names in dance music grew up only about five miles apart.

Lucas Prata has been doing his thing since the late '90s -- hosting and performing on stage and in concert -- all the while seeing tracks like "Let's Get It On," "And She Said" and "Never Be Alone" crossover from the club scene to mainstream radio. Meanwhile, Kim Sozzi has done the same -- tirelessly singing for crowds around the world, offering up smash hits like "Feelin' Me" and "How Did You Know."

Another thing they have in common: They're both from Long Island. Prata grew up in Deer Park; Sozzi was born and raised in Dix Hills.

Their travels have taken them far from Suffolk County, but on Thursday, May 19, the pair will return to the 631 area code to join forces in a show at Four Food Studio in Melville (which, by the way, is only about six miles from both the artists' hometowns).

Expect the show to start sometime after 11 p.m. for a 21-and-over crowd, with gentlemen paying $10 after 9 p.m.; ladies get in free all night.
