Whether it’s an ongoing fascination for the mystique and possible perils of “La Cosa Nostra” or just the perpetual hunger for reality TV drama, the VH1 program “Mob Wives” continues to be a must-watch for many people.

Following the six Staten Island ladies whose lives are connected to various people who have seen legal action due to their alleged involvement in the mob, the show is driven by the lively personalities of its cast. Usually, it would take the Verrazano Bridge to get to where the "Wives" hang, but on Thursday March 8, one of the show’s stars will make the trip our way.

Sometime after 9 p.m., RaMona Rizzo -- granddaughter of Benjamin “Lefty Guns” Ruggiero (played by Al Pacino in the film ‘Donnie Brasco’) – will host the night at Sugar Dining Den and Social Club in Carle Place. It’s a “birthday” event, as RaMona will be in Sugar to celebrate. Guests should dress to impress; $10 cover for gentlemen, ladies are in free.
