On the chance you’re not a “Real Housewives” devotee, the reality program revolves around women whose lives involve both fabulous worlds and often volatile relationships.
There have been “Wives” shows set in Orange County, Calif., Atlanta, Ga. and in New York City, but the ratings champ of the Bravo network’s series has been “Real Housewives of New Jersey.” Castmates include cookbook author Teresa Giudice, businesswoman Caroline Manzo, aspiring singer (and sister-in-law to Giudice) Melissa Gorga, Kathy Wakile (cousin to Giudice) and stay-at-home mother Jacqueline Laurita. The ladies tend to create a lot of feisty moments during their time in front of the camera – and it has been a big hit -- so much so that Bravo will premiere Season Four of “New Jersey” on Sunday, April 22, at 10 p.m.
However, if just seeing the housewives scrap and chat on TV just isn’t enough, Sugar Dining Den and Social Club in Carle Place will be giving fans an opportunity to catch the season opener -- along with some of the "Real Housewives of New Jersey" themselves.
Both Melissa (and husband Joe) and Kathy (plus husband Richard) are scheduled to be live and in the flesh at Sugar for this event that starts with an open bar and light buffet from 7-8 p.m.
A Q&A session with the guests of honor is set for the 9-10 p.m. hour, with the show premiere following at 10 p.m. A chance for autographs and photos will come immediately after, and a DJ will be there, ready to spin when necessary.
Tickets are on sale at wantickets.com for $45 (plus a $5.85 service charge).
