Lounge, New American
Bar scene, Outdoor Seating
So named due to the 32 steps up the staircase it takes to reach the top, this venue is only accessible via the alleys that lead to the stairs first. Once you've located the climb and reached the top, you'll find a restaurant and lounge that caters to a family crowd during the day, then an adult set at night. The menu offers a selection of new American dishes that starts with appetizers like Black Angus sliders, seared teriyaki tuna and a "Rooftop Tower" (Portobello mushrooms, mozzarella, tomato and roasted peppers with a balsamic drizzle) -- which leads to main entrées such as Chilean sea bass, baby back ribs, fajitas, skirt steak and more. Salads, burgers and sandwiches are also possibilities -- and to wash it all down, there are many wines, beers and fruity specialty cocktails to choose between. In addition, once 10 p.m. rolls around, only guests 25-and-over are permitted (with a crowd mostly 30+) to hang at the bar to catch sports or enjoy the music (either piped in, live bands or DJs) while relaxing and chatting high above Park Avenue.
