Ellen and Chuck Scarborough opened their Southampton waterfront estate Saturday night for the Southampton Animal Shelter’s second annual “Unconditional Love” cocktail party. Fellow WNBC personality Sara Gore emceed, at one point, cuddling a sweet, three-legged pitbull the shelter had saved.

That was about all the time she had to cuddle a dog these days. She hosts the 5 p.m. daily lifestyle show, "LX-TV," helmed by uber executive producer Amy Rosenblum, who created the 10 a.m. “Today” show hour. Gore also hosts “Open House,” “Open House NYC” and contributes cooking segments to “First Look New York.”

How does she fit it all in?

“I get up very early in the morning and read all the papers I can,” Gore explained. “I get to the office to do the morning meeting, where I contribute ideas. Then I leave immediately to do one or two shoots, get back just in time to get my hair and make up done, usually do a pretape, and then the live show. I do events at night, especially for Broadway. I see shows all the time, so I can talk about them every Tuesday on LX-TV. I’m doing a walk-on for ‘Rock of Ages,’ which I’m very excited about."

“On Thursday, I do two shows at once for ‘Open House,’ the national and the NYC show. I used to host ‘First Look,’ but gave it up for the live show. I’m a chef, so I still contribute cooking segments.”

Can she ever sit still? “No, but once I do, it’s hard to get me up.”
