Last week proved a busy time for celebrities escaping to the Hamptons — from a '70s child star to one of rock's most famous figures.
The spottings started last Monday, as Drea de Matteo, above, of "The Sopranos” fame and her husband, singer Shooter Jennings, ate a family-style meal including fresh pastas and homemade pizzas at Serafina. The couple was joined by friends and family, including their daughter, Alabama, and their newborn son, Waylon. Serafina is at 104 N. Main St., East Hampton; 631-267-3500; serafinarestaurant.com.
Friday night, Paul McCartney and Nancy Shevell shared a margarita, some Balsam lettuces and penne alla vecchia in a quiet corner at Nick & Toni’s. If you want to sit in the same seat as the ex-Beatle, head to 136 N. Main St., East Hampton; 631-324-3550, nickandtonis.com.
Before taking the stage Saturday night at The Stephen Talkhouse, Ed Burns chowed down with his band at Indian Wells Tavern. The group enjoyed Buffalo wings, chicken sandwiches and mussels at the restaurant, at 177 Main St., Amagansett; 631-267-0400, indianwellstavern.com.
Fred Savage recreated "The Wonder Years” with a large group of family at Navy Beach on Saturday night. The restaurant is at 16 Navy Rd., Montauk; 631-668-6868; navybeach.com.
