Super Bowl deals at LI sports bars

Game day is Sunday -- surely you'll be watching Super Bowl XLVI, when the Giants will face the New England Patriots in Indianapolis. Viewing parties abound in sports bars and restaurants -- some are hosting pay-one-price deals for food and drink or other game day promotions. Here's a survey of what's planned.

It's a different sort of Super Bowl pregame party -- The Nutty Irishman's Bay Shore location will host a chili cook-off that will have amateur cooks doling out tastes of their best recipes when they're ready at 4 p.m. Before then, there will be giveaways and free line dancing lessons (3 p.m.) My Country 96.1 FM radio broadcasts live from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
The event segues into a Super Bowl viewing party -- there's no cover charge.
