Kathy and Rick Hilton (seen here) were among the art aficionados at the Parrish Art Museum’s Midsummer Party July 9 in Southampton.
This year, the gala honored the Parrish’s founding partners and showcased its Dorothea Rockburne retrospective. It's the first museum retrospective for Rockburne, a dream of museum curator Alicia Longwell made possible by museum director Terrie Sultan.
We caught up with Kathy, who was chatting with R. Couri Hay, longtime friend, publicist and Hamptons man-about-town. “He’s known the girls since they were little,” Hilton told us. Now Paris and Nicky are big, and the family will make their first appearance on television all together, celebrating Paris’ 30th birthday on her Oxygen network reality show, “The World According to Paris.”
Paris and Nicky now live in Malibu, but still periodically visit the family's Southampton home. “We like to barbeque and hang out,” Kathy told us. “Dad does the grilling, and the girls do the baking and unload the car.”
“They love rummage sales,” added Couri.
“Yes,” said their mom. “They love all that.”
Seems even heiresses love a bargain.
