The Nutty Irishman? There's an app for that

Getting the scoop on what your favorite lounges and pubs are up to is easier than ever these days, as the club-minded curious can access a hotspot’s website and Facebook page, or even follow it on Twitter for updates via tweets. However, if you need the facts on what sort of fun is happening at the Nutty Irishman – either of them – at an even faster rate, you can just download the official Nutty Irishman app for your phone.

In a unique move not made by any previous Long Island nightspot, the Nutty Irishman is making all of its brand and business information super-straightforwardly accessible, acquired simply with a tap to the screen of your phone. The app provides full access to the menus, calendars, scheduled live music and daily specials offered at both the Farmingdale (323 Main St., Farmingdale, 516-293-9700) and the Bay Shore (60 E. Main St., Bay Shore, 631-969-9700) locations. Available for your iPhone, it’s totally free – just type “Nutty Irishman app” into any search engine, and sites that provide the download will appear (be sure and use secure sites, as you would for any download). Once on your phone, you’ll find the application features four clickable cartoons that will first guide you to which of the two places you’re curious about, and then to the specifics you seek. In addition, there is a link to contact information, another for directions and even one that provides a direct route to the Nutty Facebook page.
