Who’s dancing on top of Ferrari Maserati?

If you happen to be driving down the L.I.E. in Plainview, near Exit 48, late in the evening this weekend -- or any weekend -- and you suddenly see flashing, rotating lights and a crowd of people dancing within the top level of the Ferrari Maserati of Long Island building, don't go thinking you've missed a huge club night.

More than a few people heading out for the night have passed the tall, glass structure and noticed from the highway some sort of flashy affair under way. As it turns out, this is not some secret get-together but an event space available for various functions. There's also an outdoor terrace with tables and a bar of its own.

A quick conversation with the representative at the front desk confirms that -- for now -- this is only being used for sanctioned gatherings ... although the potential for more public use could be down the road.

Anyone interested in using the space only needs to call or visit Ferrari Maserati and ask for more information.
