Food-focused fundraiser in Westbury

Eating well while doing good is what “Taste & Toast the Town" is all about. The fundraising event, to benefit the United Cerebral Palsy Association of Nassau County, Inc., will be held on Sept. 15 at Chateau Briand in Westbury.

A host of restaurants and wineries will contribute to the affair — among them Stone Turtle in Island Park, Limani in Roslyn, Ben’s Kosher Deli in Carle Place and Uncle Bacala’s in Garden City Park. The evening will include a food judging in a variety of categories by chefs from the American Culinary Federation of Long Island. Live Caribbean music and gift bags are also in the offing.

Tickets are $100 in advance, $125 at the door. $1,500 reserves VIP seating for 12 people.

For reservations or more information call 516-378-2000 ext. 651 or go online to ucpn.org.
