This year's U.S. Open in Flushing (which runs Aug. 31 to Sept. 13) should be a hyper-caffeinated affair, thanks to two new Lavazza Cafes -- one located in the Food Village and another at South Plaza. New, as well, to the event is the Sweet Chili Food Truck, serving such items as shrimp chips with salsa, maple miso tofu and Vietnamese iced coffee. It joins last year's food truck entrant, Morris Grilled Cheese.

Although there are no other newcomers to the Food Village, you can be sure of finding old favorites, among them the ever-reliable Carnegie Deli, with its hot pastrami sandwiches, as well as Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream Shop, for that all-important cone. Additionally, some places will be featuring new dishes. At Pat La Frieda's, you'll now find an all-beef hot dog. At Maya, there are seared Baja fish tacos and at Hill Country BBQ, a chopped brisket sandwich.

New to the Club Level at the Arthur Ashe Stadium are Food Village offshoots Hill Country Barbecue and Maya. Nearby, Champions Bar & Grill will be serving the steakhouse fare of chef Michael White (of Manhattan's Costata, Marea and Al Fiori) and renowned Manhattan chef Ed Brown (of Sea Grill and Ed's Chowder House, also in Manhattan) will be teaming up with sushi chef Masaharu Morimoto at Aces.
