If you're in training to celebrate Chinese New Year, Fortune Wheel in Levittown will give you a few more reasons to join in the festivities.

Consider Beijing duck, served in two courses. The crisp, lacquered skin arrives with steamed buns, threads of scallion, and hoisin sauce, for a tender-crunchy start. It's followed (or, if the restaurant is very busy, alongside) a stir-fry of the duck meat with vegetables. All that's missing to complete a triple play is duck soup. But, since good Chinese restaurants on Long Island could qualify as an endangered species, be content with the deuce. It's $35.

Equally recommended at Fortune Wheel, which is know generally for its dim sum, is flounder in almost any guise. The restaurant does specialize in seafood. My current flounder favorite is the whole fish off the bone and served two ways, with a snowy, stir-fried half paired with its salt-baked counterpart, all on the fried frame. Excellent at $26.95.

You can go through most of the standard stuff at Fortune Wheel, too. But don't underestimate this eatery, tucked in a mall shopping area known for mainly for a branch of BJ's Wholesale Club. a Best Buy and a movie multiplex.
