Plattdeutsche Park Restaurant hosts a beer-pairing dinner on Saturday, featuring seven courses with brews to match.
Reservations are necessary and accepted on first-come, first serve, for the $68 per person event, which begins at 7:30 p.m. Doors open at 7 p.m.
Chef Herbert Aigner's menu includes Vidalia onion soup, duck liver pate, broiled shrimp with mango dressing, slow-cooked pork roast with Yukon gold potatoes and braised red cabbage, and creme brulee. The brews include Boddingtons Ale, Czechvar, Hoegaarden, Leffe Blonde, Beck's Dark and Stella Artois, from Clare Rose Inc.
