When you're a Giants fan, you think Big Blue ... and big everything else, too.

So, to fortify yourself before and during the Super Bowl, there's a basic strategy: Giant food to satisfy the expansive appetite for victory.

Let devotees of the New England Patriots take the Puritan route, sticking to either the minimalist or the standard-size strategy. They can be content with cocktail franks and mini-sliders, petite chicken wings and unadorned nachos, little cups of chili and clam chowder. Doesn't amount to a hill of baked beans.

It's as if they're prepping for the Gisele Bündchen diet.

Score with food on a scale to intimidate the Brady bunch and satisfy Eli and Co.

Here are a few recommendations for Giant fare with a kick, when portion control goes out of control.

The lobster is a New England symbol. You can find one in the 15- to 16-pound range, or a bit smaller, too. At the super-jumbo size, you may want to sic 'em on Patriots fans. The lobsters may be purchased already cooked or very much alive. Just be careful with those boxing-glove claws.
