La Pace with Chef Michael hosts a four-course dinner with wines on Thursday.
The cost is $59; without wine pairing, $49. Courses include paccheri pasta Bolognese; followed by a choice of either potato-crusted Alaskan halibut, chicken with artichokes and caperberries in lemon-wine sauce, Gorgonzola-crusted filet mignon with portobello mushrooms and string beans, or seared duck breast with caramelized apples and tart cherry sauce. Dessert: warm apple tart with caramel sauce, biscotti.
Wines will be selected buy the restaurant from regions that include Tuscany, Piedmont, Napa, Sonoma, Rioja and Maipo, Chile.
