Fork & Vine, a stylish New American eatery at the Glen Head railroad station, is offering two menus for Valentine's Day: a three-course number that's $38 per person, and a four-course production that's $46, plus tax and tip.
Two appetizer selections are part of the four-course meal. Choices include goat cheese flan, butternut squash soup, spanakopita, falafel-crusted shrimp, Caesar salad and "Philly cheesesteak" spring rolls. Main dishes incude seafood stew, grilled vegetable lasagna, grilled Australian lamb chops, grilled filet mignon, plank-smoked salmon, sauteed sole, and Latin-style boneless spare ribs with spiced bittersweet chocolate-Rioja wine sauce.
Among the desserts are chocolate waffles with espresso ice cream, warm chocolate bread pudding, and a grilled finger sandwich of Nutella, grape preserves and sliced bananas.
