The James Beard House hosts a dinner on Tuesday featuring dishes from South Fork chefs.
Nick & Toni's John Baron; Joseph Realmuto of Nick & Toni's and Townline BBQ; Ed Lightcap of Rowdy Hall; Juan Geronimo of La Fondita; Juan Juarez of Nick & Toni's Cafe; and pastry chef Jessica Craig are participating in the event, which also highlights Long Island wines.
Tickets are $130 for Beard House members; $170 for nonmembers.
The menu includes Montauk lobster buns; foie gras on brioche with Balsam Farms jam; diver scallop crudo with Amagansett sea salt; braise Iacono Farms chicken; smoked Vermont suckling pig; cavatelli with squash, sage and Grand Padano cheese; and churros with chocolate sauce. Wines from Bedell Cellars, in Cutchogue, The Grapes of Roth, Wolffer Estate in Sagaponack and Channing Daughters in Bridgehampton will be served.
