If you can’t make it out to the East End this weekend, you can still spend some quality time with one of the Hampton’s best-known residents: Ina Garten.
The Barefoot Contessa debuts her newest Food Network show on Sunday morning, and it’s all been shot in her gorgeous East Hampton home.
In “Cook Like a Pro,” Garten gets advice from the world’s best professional chefs: Mario Batali shares his top three pasta tips, Spanish-American super-chef José Andrés reveals the secret of perfectly fried eggs, Yotam Ottolenghi (author of the bestselling cookbooks “Plenty” and “Jerusalem”) teaches Garten his recipe for roasted baby vegetables with sumac and yogurt.
“Cook Like a Pro” airs at 11 a.m. on Sundays starting May 28. The first episode, “Chicken,” features recipes for roasted chicken with radishes, Waldorf salad and truffled chicken liver mousse, and instructions for trussing and roasting birds.
