Jericho: Philippe does prix-fixe

Affordability was never the calling card of Philippe, restaurateur-chef Philippe Chow’s high- end Chinese restaurant with venues in Manhattan, East Hampton, Miami, Mexico City and West Hollywood. And, oh, yes, Jericho.

Now, the Long Island branch has come into line with local ways and is running several meal deals.

A $20.11 prix-fixe is offered  Monday to Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for parties of eight or less. Included are an appetizer choice (such as hot and sour soup or chicken lettuce wraps) a main course (like Beijing chicken or crispy salmon), and, for dessert, sorbet or ice cream. Add a Martini and the deal, at $29, becomes a “power lunch.”

An early dinner prix-fixe, at $29 (also for parties fewer than eight) includes an appetizer choice (perhaps Peking duck spring rolls or crispy seaweed), a main course (like crispy beef or velvet chicken), followed by sorbet or ice cream and coffee or Chinese tea.

Drinks are half price during the restaurant’s after-work happy hour, 4 to 6 p.m. Monday to Friday.
