If you're thinking of something to reward Jeremy Lin, make up for a forgotten Valentine's Day, or just engage in a Parisian reverie, go to Kiss My Cake.

The Huntington bakery, open for three weeks, makes delicious macarons, those French meringue mouthfuls that transcend “cookie.“

Macarons go back to the Medicis and have been immortalized since the 19th Century by Laduree, the Parisian sweet spot that now also has a branch in Manhattan.

Owner and baker Maryann Santoro, whose work experience includes ultrasound technician, also makes Swiss meringue cupcakes, salted caramel and gelati. Have an espresso or a cappuccino, too.

Kiss My Cake's current macaron flavors: vanilla, espresso, pistachio, rose, salted caramel, olive oil-lime, strawberry-balsamic vinegar. The ganaches are rivaled by the creams. .

The macarons are smooth, silky, rich, generous and $1.95 each. They're also much bigger than Laduree's.

Kiss My Cake, 387 New York Ave., Huntington; 631-923-3303.
