Krinti in Woodbury: First bites

In the snowy corner of the Woodbury Common shopping center, Krinti is serving some Mediterranean sunshine.

Modern in style and traditional on the plate, it's a welcome addition to local dining and a definite distraction from any weather report.

Try a sampler of appetizers, from very good taramasalata and spiced tomatoes to feta-filled phyllo "cigars" and herbaceous cubed eggplant. Also recommended: grilled octopus and a "sultan kebab" starring lamb chops, skirt steak and chicken. Pistachio baklava is a tasty finale
