At La Volpe Ristorante in Center Moriches, a $13.99 “twilight” pasta menu runs Tuesday to Saturday from 4 to 6 p.m. Among the five choices listed are bucatini all’Amatriciana made with wild boar bacon, spaghetti with New Zealand clams and cherry tomatoes and, also, spinach tagliatelli Bolognese. Ordinarily, these pastas cost $19 to $20. There are restrictions, though: No takeout. And no groups numbering 12 or more.
Additionally, this Tuesday to Thursday, La Volpe is cutting the price on selected wines by the bottle by 20 to 50 percent. Usually, the restaurant only discounts wine on Wednesday nights.
