May is, apparently, National Hamburger Month. In honor of that sacred rite, Bobby’s Burger Palace, is contributing $1 to charity for every Crunchburger sold during the month.
Crunchburger proceeds from Bobby Flay’s Long Island burger restaurant will go to Long Island Cares, which provides a broad array of hunger-related programs including food drives, job training, mobile outreach vans, education and a food pantry.
The Crunchburger ($7.50) is Flay’s signature burger, topped with American cheese and potato chips. Enjoy it with fries and a milk shake, both excellent.
Bobby’s Burger Palace is at 355 Smith Haven Mall, Lake Grove, 631-382-9590.
