At West East All Natural Bistro & Bar in Hicksville, a four-course Rosh Hashanah menu, at $39 a person, includes stuffed matzo ball soup and coffee-rubbed beef brisket, among other classic dishes given a twist. Farther east, Smokin’ Wolf BBQ & More in East Hampton has an extensive takeout/catering menu that includes either smoked or traditional brisket, roasted chicken, poached (or house-smoked) side of salmon, noodle kugel and potato latkes.
