Long Island beers are available at some beverage distributors, bars, restaurants and specialty shops, and at the breweries. Here's a sampler of where to get a cold one with a bite to eat.
Mr. Beery's (4019 Hempstead Tpke., Bethpage, 516-579-7049): A good chalkboard beer list with a local brew or two. The selections change frequently. The bar has a food truck with hamburgers, hot dogs, grilled cheese sandwiches and vegetarian choices that you may bring in. The bar doesn't serve food.

The Lark Pub & Grub
The Lark Pub & Grub (93 Larkfield Rd., East Northport, 631-262-9700): Owner Tim Kelly pours at The Lark.
Thanksgiving egg rolls, with fresh roasted turkey, homemade stuffing and cranberry sauce in egg roll wrappers and served with a maple honey glaze and a gravy dip at The Lark Pub & Grub.
The Good Life
The Good Life (1039 Park Blvd., Massapequa Park, 516-798-4663): This pub-restaurant has local brews plus an extensive list of craft beers on tap and in bottle. Food: burgers, sandwiches, chicken wings, shepherd's pie, seared tuna.
The Good Life's mac & cheese includes a panko-English cheddar crust.
Road Trip (4837 Nesconset Hwy., Port Jefferson, 631-473-8525): A half-dozen of the taps typically sport local brews. On the menu: bar chow, from chicken wings and nachos to ribs and steak.

Tap & Barrel
Tap & Barrel (558 Smithtown Bypass, Smithtown, 631-780-5474): Lots of outstanding brews define this very focused craft-beer bar. There is no kitchen. You may bring your own food.
The Tap Room
The Tap Room (114 W. Main St., Patchogue, 631-569-5577): Some local brews, heavy on Blue Point, and a good range of others will fuel you, along with meatball sliders, burgers, wraps, salads. (Pictured: a flight of pumpkin ales.)
