Celebrity Mark Wahlberg, whose family owns the Wahlburgers restaurant chain, will be paying a visit to the two-month-old Port Jefferson Station location on Sunday evening (Feb. 19).
The singer-dancer-actor-producer (and former underwear model) will be attending a private reception for local officials and staff.
“He’s never visited this location before,” said John Cestare, one of the franchise owners. “He wanted to check it out and say thank you.” The restaurant will be open until shortly before Wahlberg arrives.
But Newsday will be inside, broadcasting via Facebook Live at facebook.com/newsday.
Wahlberg is scheduled to show up at 6:30 p.m., but no one holds Marky Mark to a strict schedule.
