Just in time for the most sparkling nights of the year, Mirabelle restaurant at the Three Village Inn has opened a bubbly wine bar.
The new bar, called Belle Lounge, is situated off the main dining room of the restaurant, which earned a four-star rating in Newsday. Chef Guy Reuge's small-plates menu includes seasonal hors d'oeuvres at $5 each.
Typical dishes include a Serrano ham-and-fig compote, short rib-and-ricotta ravioli, Merguez sausage with eggplant, and the restaurant's charcuterie and cheese plates. The choices are expected to change every day.
The wine list will be revised monthly. Currently, the featured cocktail is a "Kir Royale Italiano," $11, made with prosecco, orange liqueur, and lemon bitters.
